A rose-cut diamond has a flat base and a crown made up of triangular facets that are symmetrically arranged and rise to form a point at the top of the stone. These deep, chocolate-hued freshwater pearls in a rounded coin shape feature a cool, irregular surface and a luminous, multi-hued nacre that flashes from mauve to brown to green and back again. The pearls hang from antiqued copper earwires that hook securely in back. Total length of the earrings is 1 3/4 inches from the curve of the earwire to the bottom of the drop. This listing is for ONE Herkimer Diamond Crystal Point Necklace.***

In this necklace, a single specimen of double-pointed quartz is drilled across the top and slides freely on a 14k gold filled chain for effortless glamour and everyday ease. A Herkimer diamond is a unique, double-terminated type of quartz first discovered in Herkimer County, New York. It is not actually a diamond but it naturally forms multiple facets on its surface which give off tons of light. A Herkimer diamond crystal is a naturally colorless to gray crystal, often with black inclusions. I drill each quartz by hand and use no wire to wrap or bind it: the crystal slides freely across the chain. Each Herkimer Diamond crystal is entirely unique, generally measuring approximately 1/2 inch long. The photos show the natural variation in the crystals, which can be close to clear to lightly smoky all the way to heavily marked with beautiful black inclusions (note: none of the crystals I have are completely clear). This reusable plastic ring sizer will tell you your US ring size in whole and half sizes. It's really easy to use and you can use it repeatedly. Each one of your ten fingers is a unique size - this handy-dandy tool takes the guesswork out of ordering a ring.

The sizer comes in an envelope printed with instructions. Whole sizes are marked at the number, and half sizes are marked in between two numbers (at size 7.5, as pictured). So a size 7.5 would be the mark in between the 7 and 8.

I have a very limited number of these, and do not anticipate using the dark clay again until mid-2019. Although stunning and beautiful, it is very messy to use! The entire studio must be thoroughly washed, top to bottom, before and after using this dark, chocolate color stoneware.

Bike shaped pasta is impressed into the clay while wet, then the mug is assembled. After drying and the first firing, opaque glazes are rubbed into the impressions, and a beautiful green speckled glaze is applied on the rim and handle. Inside is a light brown-cream. The effect of the glazes against the dark, black-brown bare clay is stunning!

All mugs are wonderful to hold and use with comfortable handles, slightly flared rim, smooth base and a balance weighted at the bottom (very hard to tip over!). It will be your go-to mug every morning!

Each handbuilt stoneware mug is made one at a time, without a potter's wheel. The making process is about 2 hours per mug, and drying must happen very slowly to avoid warping and cracking. Each mug is unique in shape, design and coloring, and holds approximately 11 oz filled to the rim.

Fired to over 2200 degrees, items meet the glaze manufacturer’s specification for food safety, and are lead-free. Stoneware is dishwasher, microwave and oven safe. Stovetop or freezer use is not recommended. Artist's mark on the bottom.

A beautiful, multi-hued Opal gem sparkles in a sterling silver bezel, set on a lightly hammered 14k gold band. The hammering technique I use on the band creates a faceted effect for a gorgeous play of light. The mix of sterling silver bezel and gold band is modern and fresh.

The Opal is a precious stone, expertly cut and measuring 6mm. The 14k gold I use is recycled and refined in the U.S. in an environmental-award-winning plant. You can choose between 14k yellow gold and 14k rose gold for the band. The band measures approximately 1.5mm wide.

Bike parts, letter stamps, jute twine and real leaves are impressed into the wet stoneware clay before firing. After firing the first time, a mineral stain is applied, then glazed inside and on handle with a creamy brown glaze. The perfect coffee or tea companion!
