A beautiful, rose cut black diamond sparkles in a simple 14k yellow gold bezel atop a thin, lightly hammered 14k yellow gold band. The hammering technique I use on the band creates a faceted effect for a gorgeous play of light. This is the perfect ring to add to a stack of your favorite bands or to wear alone for a lovely statement.

Choose from one of three diamond sizes: 5mm, 6mm, or 7mm. The ring in the photos features a 5mm diamond. The last photo shows all three sizes in order for reference. A rose-cut diamond has a flat base and a crown made up of triangular facets that are symmetrically arranged and rise to form a point at the top of the stone. The look is old-world and antique-inspired.

For the treasured midwife in your life - especially if it is you! A 1950's paisley lace collar is rolled into clay slab for texture, then "midwife" is stamped into the clay with a custom-made stamp. After the first firing, a mineral glaze is applied and wiped away, giving the texture a boost! A soft matte green glaze is dipped first rim and handle, then a beautiful blue over it. White inside.

All mugs are wonderful to hold and use with comfortable handles, slightly flared rim, smooth base and a balance weighted at the bottom (very hard to tip over!). It will be your go-to mug every morning! Desirable features of handbuilt pottery are the small irregularities such as un-round shape, tiny cracks or glaze variations that do not impact the function or structure of the piece. Each handbuilt stoneware mug is made one at a time, without a potter's wheel. The making process is about 2 hours per mug, and drying must happen very slowly to avoid warping and cracking. Each mug is unique in shape, design and coloring, and holds approximately 12 oz filled to the rim.

In this necklace, a single specimen of double-pointed quartz is drilled across the top and slides freely on a 14k gold filled chain for effortless glamour and everyday ease. A Herkimer diamond is a unique, double-terminated type of quartz first discovered in Herkimer County, New York. It is not actually a diamond but it naturally forms multiple facets on its surface which give off tons of light. A Herkimer diamond crystal is a naturally colorless to gray crystal, often with black inclusions. I drill each quartz by hand and use no wire to wrap or bind it: the crystal slides freely across the chain. Each Herkimer Diamond crystal is entirely unique, generally measuring approximately 1/2 inch long. The photos show the natural variation in the crystals, which can be close to clear to lightly smoky all the way to heavily marked with beautiful black inclusions (note: none of the crystals I have are completely clear). Wandering the streets near the harbor in Reykjavik, Iceland, I found an antiques store with a wonderful selection of well-worn tools. One tiny hammer with a marred, well-used peen head called to me. It is more than 100 years old and creates the coolest pattern when the marred head hits metal. Entirely hand-forged and handmade from sterling silver, this ring is oxidized to a deep gunmetal black that fills the indentations. Then I polish the surface back up to a bright silver. This creates a beautiful, ancient-looking texture that mimics the black lava fields that stretch across the island of Iceland. The oxidization will wear like a favorite pair of jeans. The band measures approximately 1mm wide and 1mm thick. I forge and hammer each ring individually for a unique finish, made to order in U.S. ring sizes.
